Sauerkraut Hotdish Ingredients & Steps
Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground Beef (or Turkey, etc)
- 1 Small Onion, diced
- 1 tsp Salt
- ¼ tsp Black Pepper
- 1 Qt Sauerkraut (rinsed & drained)
- 2 Cans Cream of Celery Soup
- ½ cup Milk
- ½ cup of Cheddar Cheese (shredded)
- 2 Cups Slightly Cooked Wide Egg Noodles
- Cooking Spray
Steps
- Brown together the ground beef, onion, salt, & pepper. Drain.
- Spray 9×13 pan with cooking spray.
- Mix sauerkraut and hamburger mixture together then pour into pan.
- Pour slightly cooked noodles over the sauerkraut and hamburger mixture.
- Use only the 1/2 cup of milk (not according to the can) to thin all the soup.
- Pour soup mixture over noodles, making sure to cover all noodles.
- Bake at 3500 for 45 minutes.
- Add shredded cheese to top.
- Bake for another 15 minutes.
