Sauerkraut Hotdish Ingredients & Steps

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef (or Turkey, etc)
  • 1 Small Onion, diced
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 Qt Sauerkraut (rinsed & drained)
  • 2 Cans Cream of Celery Soup
  • ½ cup Milk
  • ½ cup of Cheddar Cheese (shredded)
  • 2 Cups Slightly Cooked Wide Egg Noodles
  • Cooking Spray

Steps

  1. Brown together the ground beef, onion, salt, & pepper. Drain.
  2. Spray 9×13 pan with cooking spray.
  3. Mix sauerkraut and hamburger mixture together then pour into pan.
  4. Pour slightly cooked noodles over the sauerkraut and hamburger mixture.
  5. Use only the 1/2 cup of milk (not according to the can) to thin all the soup.
  6. Pour soup mixture over noodles, making sure to cover all noodles.
  7. Bake at 3500 for 45 minutes.
  8. Add shredded cheese to top.
  9. Bake for another 15 minutes.
